Hello Jello!

Thanks to Laura for sharing this video from our Valentine's Day afternoon. Adrian and Leanna are too funny!

A LOVE-ly Afternoon

Students at Willie J. Happyjack were treated to a games afternoon on Monday, in celebration of St. Valentine's day. We had a checkers competition going, the games room was open, twister was twisting and people were snacking on jello while blindfolded! All in all, a great afternoon!

Short but Sweet!

The week is already over! Teachers have PED days for the rest of the week, so our activites are wrapped up for this second week in February. It may have been brief, but it was jam-packed.

Emily's been making guest appearances in art classes through school. She led students through painted colour wheels and grey-scale exercises.

We had a busy afternoon of basketball, while other students worked on producing the first newspaper of the new year.

Adding to our shelf of plasticine creations, Traci made this sweet scene (and photographed it!)

Here's our plan for next week. Don't forget to wear festive colours on Monday, to dress backwards for backwards day on Wednesday and to dress-up in your fancy clothes for Teacher Appreciation week on Thursday!

Miah's Photo Studies

Miah also brought back some awesome photos from this weekend. She did some great photo series. See them below!

And a great silly one!

Kevin's Sporty Weekend

Kevin brought back some great photos from his weekend. It looks like he's been spending lots of time outside! Winter fun!

Mistissini Career Fair

The Secondary Fours and Fives were hosted by Mistissini's Voyageur High School on February 1st. Mistissini's Career fair was busy and vibrant! Some students from Wawanipi even acted as models in a Kim Picard fashion show!
