Youth Fusion helped with the Waswanipi Community Hallowe'en Party that was held at the Youth Centre on Saturday night. Asked by the Youth Council to be the costume judges Astrid and Skye joined Grade 6 teacher, Robin, and frantically put together costumes to wear. Then they all spent the evening judging some amazing costumes worn by party goers. It was difficult to decide some of the winners - the effort people put by some was outstanding. Our favorite game of the evening was trying to figure out who was behind some of the masks.
Also at the Community Party was a pumpkin carving contest. Youth Fusion coordinators entered and received the winning number of votes in the adult category. They were excited to say the least and were very pleased with their appropriately themed wolf blanket prize!
